Congratulations Centre award winners!

Members who have made exceptional contributions to the Centre in the areas of Outreach and Impact, Collaboration and Centre Values, and Mentorship were recognised as the 2025 Annual Workshop in November.

The Outreach and Impact Award - Chiara Lisotti, University of Sydney

This award recognises CDM members who actively engage in outreach/impact activities to promote the work of the Centre and particle physics outside of academia and to the broader community. Nominations should focus on members who go above and beyond the expectations of outreach involvement in the Centre or have shown initiative in organising or instigating new outreach activities.

The Collaboration and Centre Values Award - Sharry Kapoor, Haylea Purnell, University of Adelaide, Kael Kemp, University of Adelaide, Iman Shaukat Ali, University of Melbourne, Amrita Banerjee, Swinburne University of Technology and Chiara Lisotti, University of Sydney

This award aims to recognise CDM members who have actively and effectively collaborated with members at other nodes, across disciplines (between theoretical and experimental particle physics) or CDM partner organisations. This can be demonstrated in a number of ways in line with the Centre’s values around collaboration, passion and trust and a focus on equity, diversity and inclusion.

The Mentorship Excellence Award - Darren Croton, Swinburne University of Technology and Lindsey Bignell, Australian National University

This award recognises a CDM member who has provided guidance and support to students and other researchers in the Centre. It celebrates those who have gone beyond their formal roles to nurture talent, foster growth and inspire excellence in others.
