Damian Marinaro (DSTG)

Dr. Damian Marinaro has had a 15-year career working as a Defence Scientist, supporting the Australian Defence Force’s Radiological and Nuclear Defence capability.

He has extensive experience in the communication of science and technology to Defence, and in translating Defence requirements into research programs and technology outcomes.

Within the Centre, he will provide a link between the Centre and the Australian Defence and National Security sector, to investigate the transfer of technology and techniques developed by the Centre’s research program into Defence capability and industry, particularly with regards to developments made with the Centre’s Direct Detection program.
