Giorgio Busoni

Dr Giorgio Busoni’s interests include Physics Beyond the Standard Model broadly defined, including and focusing, but not limited to, Dark Matter searches. His research interests connected to Dark Matter usually focus, but are not limited to, WIMP candidates broadly defined.

Dr. Giorgio Busoni obtained his Ph.D. in Theoretical Particle Physics in 2015, under the supervision of Dott. Andrea De Simone. During his PhD he was a visitor at the University of Geneva and CERN.

He obtained his first Postdoctoral appointment at The University of Melbourne, between 2015 and 2018, under the supervision of Prof. N. F. Bell and a second Postdoctoral position between 2018 and 2021 at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. M. Lindner. In January 2022 Dr Busoni arrived back in Australia to take up his exciting new role as a Research Fellow within the Centre.
