Irene Bolognino

Irene is a Postdoctoral Researcher (Experimental), at the Adelaide Node.

She is involved with the SABRE experiment which aims to look for dark matter by using two detectors located in both hemispheres (in Australia and in Italy).

Irene has always been interested in Dark Matter, in particular in the SABRE experiment, and worked for the site in the northern hemisphere during one of her previous roles.

Her research interests are not limited to Dark Matter, but also neutrino physics, both sterile and solar neutrinos (the SOLID and the Borexino experiment), and cosmic-rays and gamma astronomy physics (the ARGO-YBJ and the LAGO experiment).

Area of Research: SABRE experiment
