Lachlan McKie’s area of research is experimental physics and direct detection. Development of prototype gaseous time projection chambers for the directional dark matter search. Currently conducting experimental work at the ANU with the CYGNUS collaboration investigating detector target gases with the aim to produce a large scale directional dark matter detector.
