Currently the Director of the Roma division of Italy’s Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), Professor Diemoz has over thirty years of experience in high-energy physics, including a variety of international leadership roles within the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider

As a member of the SABRE collaboration, within the Centre she will provide a crucial point of contact between the SABRE South experiment team (based in Australia), and the SABRE North team, particularly with regards to the Italian contribution towards the experiment.

Professor Diemoz’s considerable expertise in all aspects of experimental high-energy physics, including instrumentation, software, and data analysis, will contribute significantly to the design and commissioning of the SABRE South experiment. Furthermore, her expertise in collider physics will also be relevant to the Centre’s theory and experimental programs.
